JNTO attributes Taiwan's June growth to sustained travel demand, the Dragon Boat Festival falling in mid-June this year against late May last year, and an increase in airline seat capacity. The same calendar shift is cited for Hong Kong, up 28.5% to 214,300, so both figures carry a one-off timing component that should be stripped out when comparing next month.
